2 weeks ago - 165.4
Last week - 168+
Today - 167.8
Yes, look at the pretty toes; not the weight check. Same nail color as last week, but looks a little different with flash photography. More reddish than actually is.

Not much else to say. The numbers tell it all. Why is this so dang hard!!?

But remember I told you about my artistic sis-in-law's couture nails. Here is her "nail of the day" pix she sent me today. Nice, huh?

6/13/2015 - I'm Not Telling

This weekend was three days of Blues Fest just steps from our balcony and three days of fun house guests and three days of too much eating and drinking. Actually not so much on the drinking. I gained too much and too embarrassed to tell. I promise next week I will report out.

Do have some fun nail polish stuff to report. My sis-in-law Lo has been doing some real cool and artistic stuff on her nails. I asked her to do my toes and what resulted was a "Matisse-ish" color combo. Freeform, using four different colors and highlighted in gold speckles.

I ended up giving her about 2 dozen bottles that had built up in my cabinet. Hope she goes crazy and has fun with all those new hues. Plus gives me an excuse to buy some more colors for myself.

7/6/2015 - Win By a Nose

Last week 165.6
This week 165.4
Pretty good for a holiday weekend. Had a friend over for her 60th birthday and drank homemade pina coladas (her fave) ala Mikie. Mum good, but many calories. Then a little 4th of July celebrating, so that meant a few more cocktails under the fireworks show. I think cocktails are my weight loss downfall.

No new nail polish this week, but two other things I wanna say:

1) Thanks to the US Supreme Court recent final decision, LGBT folks can now legally marry and get spousal benefits in every state in the USA. Making progress for many of my friends. Free to be what you want to be. Freedom and acceptance of all in the USA. That's what it is all about, isn't it? The White House was lit up in rainbow colors. Stunning!

2) And YAY to the USA for winning the FIDA Women's World Cup soccer tournament yesterday. I had not watched this sport before, but it is beautiful and brutal at the same time. Playing on artificial turf was the first challenge (just not done in the Men's World Cup) and no protective gear! It was hard to watch the head butts ending in bloody wounds. Just don't know how they do it. And what a workout. Couldn't do that even in my prime. You go, gals!
